The meaning of La’nat: La’ana َلعَن  = to be distanced from khayr (good),   rehmat (mercy). To punish, curse etc. The subject of the word “ La´nat ”, Mal’oon ملعون is person who has been distanced from rehmat , khayr and one who is damned and cursed.
