Some years ago, a 25-year-old gold-digger in search of a rich husband stuck her neck out on Craigslist New York asking for tips on landing Mr Moneybags. Ms Pretty, as she called herself, was rewarded by a letter from someone claiming to be the CEO of J P Morgan (never verified) containing a pill so bitter that she took herself and her post off Craigslist. The internet being what it is, however, has kept Ms Pretty's plea and the businesslike deconstruction of her worth as a rich man's potential mate alive and in social media circulation. Seven years after Ms Pretty slunk away tail between legs, the supposed J P Morgan CEO's advice still holds good for others of her tribe. It's also really funny.
