The bridge, which crossed part of the Tinau River in the city of Butwal, was completely destroyed. In the video, people on the bank whistle and wave to warn people on the other side of the potential collapse. According to the Himalayan Times, a police team was attempting to rescue people on the bank of the river when the bridge collapsed.
