Doctorate Degree conferred upon Aali Qadr Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin (Tus)

Governor Sindh Dr Ishrat-ul-Ibad on Wednesday conferred doctorate degree upon Aali Qadr Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin (Tus) in a convention organized by University of Karachi (KU) at Governor House.
Education minister Nisar Ahmed Khuhro, Advisor Higher Education Syed Wajahat Ali and other experts were present.
Governor Sindh said doctorate degree is conferred to His Holiness Dr. Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin (Tus), the Spiritual leader of Dawoodi Bohra Community, to recognize is services for social service. He said that Syedna Saifuddin Saheb is such a personality who has rendered a great service for highlighting Islamic culture.
He said it responsibility of educational institutes that along with promoting e education, they should honour such personalities who have devoted themselves for humanity.
He lauded the University of Karachi (KU) for presenting doctorate degree to such a valuable personality.

Extreme Floods in 2016

The bridge, which crossed part of the Tinau River in the city of Butwal, was completely destroyed. In the video, people on the bank whistle and wave to warn people on the other side of the potential collapse. According to the Himalayan Times, a police team was attempting to rescue people on the bank of the river when the bridge collapsed. Further heavy rainfall has been observed in various parts of  the country over the last 48 hours. The country has already  experienced severe flooding in several areas, including the  counties.
